This morning we were totally fogged in which was really beautiful, especially as the sun started to slowly burn it off. I went down to the beach and found the tide was going out, leaving large tide pools. It was fairly empty - one couple had walked by and this gull hung out in the pond. Then, a flock of pelicans flew by, and out of the fog this runner in bright pink emerged and cooperatively ran right by the puddle. I had plenty of time to set up for her reflection.

@satinscape I like that phrase a lot -- this was a case of seeing her at a distance and waiting til she got herself to the 'right' spot. I was relieved when she did!
Beautiful shot, love the eery atmosphere and the runner in pink, out of the blue (or should I say grey?) Fav
Taffy, when you travel you post incredible photos...I strongly suggest that you should travel more (to improve your photography further, I mean...)
