How I See the City by taffy

How I See the City

This is NOT my image, so no need to comment. Jim found this and I thought for those curious about my skyline shots, you might find this interesting. Our building is the one in the red rectangle with the arrow pointing to the 33rd floor. Sunsets are taking looking from the windows you see here facing west. Skyline shots are taken on the other side, looking east. The 'castle in the sky' is visible just to the left of the tall John Hancock building toward the upper left corner. The Sears (aka Willis) Tower is the black monolithic looking building to the east and a bit south. Millennium Park is straight east, between the end of the tall buildings and the lake, but not visible from our building. Thank you for your lovely comments, as always! Looking forward to the switch to nature on Beaver Island in July, if all goes smoothly!
That gives a pretty good idea of what you're able to look at from your place. Interesting view of Chicago.

Awesome! Not the view of the skyline that one usually sees. What a great place to live.

Your location is a cityscape photographer’s dream spot. Hope it works out for you to go to your special island next month. I hope to make to mine in early Sept.

That view is so amazing, I never thought the lake was quite as big as this! Holding thumbs that you get to BI in July and all will go well.

You certainly live in the thick of it, great views from all angles. I didn’t realise Lake Michigan would be this big.
