This is my third (and final) entry for my get-pushed challenge. @dtigani asked that I "attempt a Low Key Black and White photo." So far, my photos have been taken using a flash indoors and of small objects. I decided to try one on a larger scale outdoors. Thanks, Daniel, for a great challenge!
@dtigani Here's my third and final try. Given your extensive experience in b&w, I'd appreciate any feedback. This one was definitely outside my normal range of photography.
Outstanding! I love this line of benches, and this is the best shot of them I've seen so far. Great POV, and the darkness brings out the gleam of the metal. Fav!
Ok. Im going to be brutality honest. Fav! Love the line of chairs, reflected in the line on the concrete, as well as the line of the wall behind. The buildings in the far right gives the scene context. Excellent job.
@lindseying@jannkc@seanoneill Thank you Lindsey, Jann, and Sean (and for taking the time to view large, Sean). It was a good challenge for me and I've learned that I LIKE this kind of shot. It's such a different way of thinking when you know it's going to be b&w.
