Taken from our rooftop in-camera. I used the multiple exposure setting, set to two shots. I took the first one looking east to the skyline with the buildings lit with golden hour light, then took the second shot looking west where the sun was setting and the sky was turning an orange-mauve-greenish color, with waves and wisps of color. This multiple exposure technique is challenging, but a really fun way to push me to imagine an image that is there, but not there until I create it. Fun, fun, fun!
@divya365@thirdjoe@jetpics@archaeofrog@photo_mum@lightchaser Thank you for your supportive comment. I liked this but was a bit nervous posting it as it's a bit over the top, I think. I was thinking about the thread on HDR today and wonderful if this would end up as an example of what not to do!
I love this Taffy! So interesting to see a shot like this done in camera. You have a very creative eye to be able to visualize this image! Definitely not overdone! Fav!
Taffy, this is just beautiful. The green and gold streaks in the sky are the icing on an already nice cake. The three shots go together so well and the balance between the three is perfect. Really great job.
@elaine55 Thanks for the fav, Elaine! I hadn't ever noticed it and then when the technique challenge came along, and I found it, I've had so much fun since then. Many many failures, but every once in a while a multiple exposure looks okay. I've tried 3 but those really have not come out well.
I like it and am in awe that you are doing such creative work!
