Shoot the Moon

I've been waiting to take this shot for almost a year! This is the 'engagement ring' or 'wedding cake' building that I've posted before - links in case you don't remember or are interested: http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-11-15 and http://365project.org/taffy/special-photos/2013-11-15
Anyway, every once in a while, the moon sits on top of the building and looks like it has been shot right out of it. When I was taking my puddle shots earlier, I noticed the moon was up, but off to the right from where I would have wanted it. So I started walking until I was at a point where the moon was where I wanted it to be (about 4 blocks northeast). Then, I leaned on top of a car in a parking lot to steady my camera so I could take a bracketed shot. I took about 10 bracketed versions (30 photos) in hopes that at least one set would work. Then, I used HDR to combine them into one shot (3 of them, not 30), converted to b&w, smoothed out in Color efex, and ta-da. I'm SOOOO excited -- and it means another day I've continued with b&w in my challenges album.
