For bw-book club -- finally caught up for this album -- an image from a relatively short photo walk on Museum Campus, taking shots of the frozen lake, skyline, Soldier Field, and surroundings. The snow started melting today and there are puddles everywhere. These trees are just north of the planetarium, looking out across Lake Michigan. The puddle was once the jogging path -- and hopefully will be again sometime soon. Book Club this week is focusing on design choices -- here I went with high contrasts.
What a amazing photo.....I just like how the black and white stand out. Also the trees looks so miniature or its just my eyes..lol The clouds are so awesome & angry. Fav for me.
Love how the trees are dwarfed by the sky, and how their trunks appear to be swallowed by the snow! The reflections are spot on! I am sure that jogging path gives you great photo opportunities when the weather warms up, but right now makes for great reflections! FAV!
I am always drawn to high contrast b&w - and really like this photo with its amazing reflections and dark sky. I enjoy all the information which you give with your photos.
A wonderful B&W image. This is gorgeous as it is, but if it were mine I would crop down from the top just a little to concentrate the eye on the trees.
Taffy, this is a sensational Fav!
It's a fav
I always learn from your suggestions -- so thank you!
