Scene: Outdoors, small garden, photographer needs a macro for ONS8, but has no time at all to really do it justice.
Photographer thought, driving action: "I'll take a macro of the pink flower -- that should work, and it won't take long and I'll just post early."
Body language: a little rushed and slightly guilty for not putting more effort into shot
Action, Setting 1: Photographer carefully focuses on flower. As she is about to shoot, beautiful butterfly or moth or whatever this is, lands on flower and looks directly into ALREADY FOCUSED camera lens. Photographer snaps photo. Take 3 other shots.
Action, Setting 2: Quickly downloads photo into camera. Smiles but at the same time thinks must take her time to do a little cropping so will not be able to post early afterall.
Action, Setting 3 next day: Finally crops two photos, makes decision about which one, and posts, so grateful for photobombing pretty thing.
AND, so thankful to my 365 friends for commenting and fav'ing the shot of Bella in the sunset. It made it to TT!!
And happy proposal is almost done...will be done by Monday's deadline. Will be able to catch up on 365 next week.
Great happenstance. We should all have photo bombers like that! Glad the work is going well. Sounds like your cold's much better. I love the picture, the marking on the wings make me think of the pleating in a fan. Wonderful. Fav
I laughed out loud (really!) at your blow by blow description of how this shot was taken. Serendipitous perhaps, but the finished product certainly turned out very well, and a definite fav for me.
