Diamond Head 1

A window seat had the advantage of some amazing views and the downpour of the morning cleared. This is the classic site of Diamond Head, the crater that rises above Waikiki (to the left) and homes of celebrities along with the resorts and hotels. I've never been there and know little about the geography of the island, except that is volcanic. Will have to go and explore more online. Loving that crater! I have a deep fascination for volcanoes.

@redy4et @jgpittenger Ha -- laughed at your comment about airplane windows. Usually so muddled and dirty. These benefited from a downpour before we were taking off, and then the wind blowing the droplets off the windows as we were taking off, so they were as clean as I'd ever seen some.
