One More Fountain on Charleston's Waterfront

Looking away from the harbor, standing on the walkway. This fountain uses the pineapple to symbolize welcome. I saw pineapples in various forms throughout the city but this was, by far, the largest.

I have been here many, many times. I like your positioning on this because usually this fountain is shot from the city toward the water or toward the promenade. This provides a different vantage point than I usually see. It looks great in B/W too.

Great black and white! I think the pineapple is somehow in the state insignia or on the flag too- but don't quote me on that! I love the detail the black and white brings out.
