@karenann Wow thank you so much for the sweet words and fav Karenann, really appreciate it. You can do this indoors or out and may requires a bit of a mess. I just picked any colorful object, in my case some craft paper but a sweater, scarf etc will work as well. Filled Pyrex dish with water and a few tablespoons of oil and raised it up maybe 8 inches with some boxes so there will be a gap between the paper and the dish. I used 2 desk lamps for lighting and made them shine under the dish ( if you do this outside you don't need any extra lighting). Put the camera on a tripod with flash on very low power and made it point down into the water. I suggest manual focus for this one and get as close as the lens will let you. You may have to stir the water once in a while to get some nice oil bubbles. You can also move the camera around a bit too to get different patterns and colors. Hope this one makes sense, feel free to ask more questions =)
