Almost gone!

This little guy was flitting all over my dying Vinca's today. I wasn't really impressed with any of my shots, but am trying to post shots from the day. Still learning . . .

They are so bright and pretty! I learned something...did not know the name of this flower! I love how they have that one central hole where the skippers stick their proboscis!

great dof and details of that butterfly - which aren't that easy to take - and it's the daily shots that improve us, we get to shoot in awful conditions and learn how to deal with them - given the choice we would find a better day for a real shoot, but learning to deal with what we get thrown really develops our photography
