I just love flowers and this one, once cropped, called out to have some words on it. So, sorry for the filler but I really wanted to play with this. I hope that you all are have the best day of the year!
Thank you so much for the follow Tara! I really appreciate your views and comments. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your shots as well and hope to keep up on commenting too. Lovely shot here- I'd suggest a lighter color for the quote though. The black is a bit hard to read in spots.
@olivetreeann I agree Ann. It was my first time doing words and I didn't notice that it was kind of dark until I posted. I really appreciate the critique - a great way to learn! Since I'm a little OCD I wish there was a way I could fix it without deleting all of the comments. :)
@tara11 Hey Tara! This is super! And I love the quote. You know you want to p ay for ace membership! One thing you get is the ability to edit with pikmonkey within 365's site....you do not lose comments that way. You cannot change if you crop too small If using pikmonkey on 365 and maybe you cannot take off words to add new words ...not sure.
@tara11 As an ace member you can do that (and I have!). The cost is really reasonable and you also get the bonus of two extra albums- just in case you are not OCD enough over one! lol
WOW! this photo and the sentiment would make a wonderful greeting card that would brighten anyone's day!!, Ole Ralph knew what he was alking about alright, but he did forget to mention, that Tomorrow will be even better!!......very well done Tara!...a definite FAV
I forgot to Fav this before and seeing it again reminded me! This is sharp and clear where it should be and soft and dreamy where it should be. The quote is awesome!
@tara11 Well now that you're an ace member, you can completely redo the shot. I like working with a couple different on-line processing sites- Picmonkey, iPiccy and Ribbet (but some of the Ribbet effects are now only available in Premium which of course you have to pay for.) Picmonkey has a lot of nice fonts. I'd suggest going there and playing around with the text color and font until you get something you like, then reposting it- or you could put the new version in your second album.
@olivetreeann Hey Ann, I tried picmonkey but I couldn't edit the font or even delete it to start over. I ended up uploading the plain shot and adding the words to it online and putting it in my extra album.
@tara11 Did you load the shot into your computer and then upload it to Picmonkey (that's how I do it) or did you upload it to 365 and then try to edit it from there? I've heard several people have trouble doing it that way. After I edit in Picmonkey, I then save the picture in my computer and then upload it to 365 from there. There is probably a shorter way to do this, but I'm not totally computer savvy when it comes to these things. I hope that makes sense!
@olivetreeann It does and that's how I did it - went to pm uploaded photo, edited, saved the uploaded to 365. I was hoping that I could edit from 365 and resave as not to lose my comments. That may have worked if the picture didn't already have the words on it. It's all good - I was able to save into my new spare album :)
@tara11 I'm glad it worked out for you in the long run! Back in May when I was out of town for a while, I was using my niece's lap top to up load my pictures to 365 and I found I had to upload first and then edit afterwards. It was a little inconvenient but better than not doing it at all! Enjoy your ace membership! It really gives you a lot of bang for your buck!
@aromatic @tonyjsisti Thank you both for the favs. I may print and frame as a reminder.
@espyetta @olivetreeann You've definitely got me thinking if nothing else to lighten up the words on this shot :)
@shannew @abhijit @sailingmusic @psychographer nthanks so much for stopping by and leaving your kind comments!
