Original, huh? Totally uninspired at the moment. I'll take a lot of shots and then I'm just not happy with them.
This one I over-exposed a bit in camera and then edited it all back in ; )) The lines are from the sun coming through my blinds. I played around with post-processing and found that this pencil sketch brought out some cool details. So, here you go!
Don't get discouraged. We all go through slumps. Don't be too hard on yourself. I think this is a great photograph! I like your composition, the shadows behind the tulips and that you made it b/w!
Oh WOW! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! The tulips have like a satiny sheen to them. And those blinds lines! This is an amazing b and w! Great use of lines and shadows and textures. Fav for sure!
@espyetta Wow - thank you MB! We finally had some sun and I wanted to take advantage so, used the blinds and wanted to shoot my tulips and a little picasa editing and viola! I'd never used the pencil sketch option before and I loved it for this. It really brought out the details. Thanks for the fav!
