Isn't he pretty?

Oh my goodness, I'm addicted to my little macro lens. I must save my money for one for my Canon. This is so much fun to see teeny tiny things up close. This guy is probably around 2-3 cm.
I just realised you used your phone! Amazing! So you have a little macro lens on your phone? I wonder if the same lens would fit an android? I love this shot. Those bright colours and obviously the detail are wonderful xx

@psychographer Thanks Lisa! Abhijit posted a shot where he used this little 3 in 1 attachment for his iphone. I went on ebay and found one there. I'm sure that they have them for android. It's lots of fun. The shot I posted of my cat - Fisheye Frissy, was taken with one of the lenses. It's hard to keep the phone steady, but it will do in a pinch!

@robv Thanks Robert. These things are very cool. I had shuffled everything around since we went out of town and I didn't have my attachments with me. But, like you, I always have my phone with me. Thanks for the information on what type of insect this is.
