Cyclist

I'm continuing to explore every mode on my camera. The "sports" setting completes the top mode wheel (except for video). This setting uses very high ISOs and fast shutter speeds. I'll give it another try when I have some faster action to photograph. This cyclist was on fairly level ground, probably not going faster than 20 MPH
I found the setting inappropriate for wildlife. I caught this squirrel in mid jump crossing the road, but the focal point is on the road. The squirrel looks fuzzy. https://photos.app.goo.gl/DwsgfL7MQZ4zsS476

@tdaug80 Hi Frogger, welcome to 365. This last picture of yours gave me the idea to challenge you to do a Profile Pan Shot, in the short video I linked below is point number two at minute 2:21 of the video.

"profile pan shot the background foreground and wheels all have motion blur while the subject remains tack sharp"

@adi314 Thanks. I can try that. There are lots of bicyclists on the road near me, and there are some highways nearby. I might also try it at a skate park near me if the weather is nice enough to attract subjects.
