I'll be Forever Blowing Bubbles

Tried again for the B&W Drops/Bubbles challenge. At first, I tried a large aperture in aperture priority and natural light. That led to some interesting light trails. (See my Alternates album). For this image, I put the camera in manual mode with a smaller aperture, faster shutter speed, and a flash.
That turned out very cool! I'm waiting to try out frozen bubbles!

@farmreporter There are plenty of kids in the neighborhood, but I don't know them now that my kid is grown. I decided to stick with my inner child as the bubble blower.

@jenp It was probably cold enough today. The high was in the 20s F.

Great catch Frogger!

Well - you certainly did a great job here both blowing bubbles and getting the shot!
Well done!

You managed blowing them AND shooting them? Well done! Though the B&W for me is missing the wonderful oily sheen of rainbow colours you get on bubbles. But perhaps you didn't like them in colour?

Cool details.
Tim we are partners in this week's get pushed challenge. How about capturing opposites?

@casablanca I like it in color, too. I was preparing this image for a B&W challenge "bubbles/drops." I put the color version in my alternates album.

@casablanca My camera has a remote connection to my phone. I prefocused about a foot in front of me, and used an f/8.0 aperture to get some depth of field. Then, I held my finger over the remote button as I blew the bubbles. I didn't get it right on the first try.
