Jenga

My get-pushed partner challenged me to photograph motion blur.
@alannascanlon I had been given the motion pan challenge a couple of times, so I decided to take a picture where the moving subject was blurred, rather than the background. My experience with these projects is that it takes about 100 images to get one good one. Thanks for the challenge.

That is a good picture. It seems that you got the speed and the trigger point just right so that the sticks were moving in the air but not collapsed yet, and your hand was not moving anymore. The light was fine as well, with your object bright and the background darker, and a partial reflection on the table.

@etienne Thanks. I used an external LED panel for lighting. The timing is just a matter of statistics. I set my camera to take 10 images in succession after a time delay and tried to pull out the stick at the right time. Restack, repeat.
