What a wonderful shot of the flowers.
The great thing of shooting manual is that you can change all your settings to get different looks. Want more D0F? Change your ISO or shutter speed. Doing action and need faster shutter? Change your ISO or aperture. Or want to pan your action shot? Choose a slow shutter and adjust the rest.
But then - you probably know all of this!
@farmreporter I hardly ever use manual mode. I usually choose aperture priority or shutter priority. I'll choose manual when I need to do something that those modes won't get right. Now and then, I like to force myself to shoot in manual just to remind myself how the pieces of the exposure triangle work together.
I'm the opposite. I very seldom use a Priority mode and shoot almost exclusively on Manual. I think it is because I am always trying to get that look that is a little bit different and I find that Priority modes will always try to give you a 'proper' shot.
