My get-pushed partner challenged me to try free lensing. This is the first time that I've gotten anything in focus with this technique. I can't say I'm a fan of it. It's difficult to get the focus right, and you risk getting debris in your camera body and in your lens. I'm sticking with my macro extension tubes.
Ashley, as I mentioned in the description, this is the first time that I've gotten an acceptable result with free lensing. Thanks for the challenge, but I don't think I'm going to make a habit of using this technique. @shesnapped
