My get-pushed partner challenged me to try night photography. I'm not sure what constellations are visible or what the brightest start is. With my camera, it is largely impossible to aim and focus on stars. Both the viewfinder and LCD screen are completely blank. My technique is to focus manually on a terrestrial light in the distance then aim the camera in the general direction of something interesting in the sky.
@365anne Thanks for the challenge. I wanted to try some astrophotography. I intended to stack several photos to get some faint details, but I'm having some trouble with my program that does that. Instead, I took one image and tinkered with the exposure and contrast in post processing to bring out some details.
