This photo is of a reflecting pond, with the image turned upside down. The sky looked so much bluer in the water than in the sky. I cropped some off the "bottom." The log looks weird, because the real log is lit from above. I learned this trick from Etienne.
Wow. This is such a great example of that challenge you just gave me. I hope I can come up with something that works even half as well. For your challenge, I'd like you to take a picture looking straight up at something besides sky. Extra points if it's not trees or light fixture. Doesn't have to be that height, BTW. How does that sound?
