@mirroroflife Regarding focus stacking, it is a technique where you take several images with the focal plane in different spots. Then, you use photo editing to combine the images--taking the in-focus parts from each image.
For macro lighting, I often use an external LED panel for continuous lighting. I also know someone who made a diffuser from a plastic milk jug that he pokes his lens through. Then, he uses the built-in flash on the camera. For this image, I just used sunlight coming in through the window.
