an old pub in tocumwal nsw.....i was told that there was a 4th pub in town....one that no one goes to.....that was enough for me to get on my bike and go and have a look and here it is..still serving drinks and un renovated....find it across the tracks
A great old building shame it's no longer a going concern, maybe it has had it's day but with lovely lace balconies I hope it's maintained for it's historical value.
Great capture!! I love old buildings like this, i love trying to picture it back in it's day and the people going about their lives. I visited Toc quite a bit in my early teenage years, we tended to sit around the camp fire rather than go to the pubs though :)
Oh the lies that wonderful pub could bare: shady deals, and dubious trades, and sports wagers, and hearty friendships, wars fought and won and lost, torrid affairs and fist-fights, and cattle sales, politics, bravado and bragging and beer. Good snapshot, John!

Great shot - looks like it is a really old yellowed image which suits the subject really nicely. Maybe you should consider removing the car from the shot and photoshop a horse in its place!
Plenty of character in this old pub. I like that it has the coat of arms symbols on it's roof. Great ironwork around the verandah too. Why does nobody drink here?
