This shot was taken on Friday when we went to see our boy off at Williamstown docks. The wharf was a buzz of activity with two of the Sea Shepherd boats, the "Steve Irwin" and the "Sam Simon" in at dock. They are intimidating looking vessels with pirate like monikers and sharks teeth paint jobs. The "Steve Irwin" has a helipad on board and this little chopper was doing retrieve exercises from the pad. Dropping a diver into the bay then flying out to winch him to safety. Good practice for when they are out on the open ocean chasing Japanese whaling boats. I admire their dedication to the cause.
Thank you for your continual views and comments on my project. I appreciate it. Hope you are having a lovely weekend.
