Me and my new lens went for a wander through the park after work today for a little while. Cannot for the life of me figure out how to get auto-focus to play nicely with it. Just doesn't want to do it. Obviously some setting that I need to know about. Luckily I manually focus 90 percent of the time so it's no biggie.
The deal with yesterday was that we had an evacuation at work because one of the guys accidentally hit a fire sprinkler with his reach truck and caused an enormous flood and damage. $5000 for the fire brigade to come and turn the water off. Thousands of dollars in damaged stock. It is certainly not the first time it has happened and will not be the last, I'm sure!!! Always some kind of drama at work.
After work I went to a meeting (at the pub) to help organise a school re-union for my old school. One of the ladies could not make it so sent her husband along instead. He didn't go to our school! What a knob-head he was. Had an opinion on everything. I just wanted to shout at him to SHUT-UP!!! He is not coming to the next meeting, I tell ya!
*Breathe deeply*
Peace and harmony 365er's. Hope your Sunday has lots of peace and harmony!!!
Knob-head, lol! This is a terrific macro shot, Terrie. Enjoy your new lens. Sometimes there are 2 distance settings on macro lenses to keep the lens from hunting for focus, but I'm sure you already know that! :)
Thank you, Terrie, for nice comments and such great challenge. It really makes me think... I looked through your portfolio, and it's gorgeous. Love your landscapes and macro shots.
My challenge for you for the next week is to create a portrait that will show the essence of the person, his identity, but without showing the face.
Looking forward to see the results as I really love your creative attitude
Hey there is a knob head in every crowd!! We all know this person LOL, you photo turned out amazing tho - I generally manually focus on my macro shots as any slight movement and the auto focus goes into its own trip! FAV
