This is a little lake in the Dandenongs. Some kids were trying their luck fishing. They told me that there is only eel and carp in the water. Plenty of ducks and birdlife around though.

Long weekend here - to celebrate the birthday of a queen that not many gives two hoots about and it's not her actual birth date anyhow. I think Aussies just love any excuse to squeeze in another public holiday ;-)
@gigiflower No complaints here Sam. I'm actually working on Monday - double time all day so I say "thanks and happy birthday Ms Queen". Are you heading off somewhere exciting for the long weekend Sam?
@teodw Not going away but have a full weekend planned - going to get to the Mornington Jazz Festival and hopefully take some cool photos! The weather isn't going to be great tho........but will make the most of having a few days off!!!!
