Crossing the Daintree River

The coastal road from Cairns to Cooktown follows Cape Tribulation and crosses some mighty awesome rivers including the Daintree River. Like most rivers in the tropics, swimming is not advised due to the presence of crocodiles.

Aaawwwww!! We did a tour up to the tip some years ago and it absolutely brilliant. It seemed like the tour started when we crossed the Daintree.
