Lower Teneriffe Falls

I had fun focus stacking on this one. First time it turned out well.
Very well done!

Looks like a lot of logging around. The water comes out nicely.

@jetr Thank a lot, I worked at this one a bit more than I am used to to get it.

@yaorenliu There was historic springboard logging around here in years past, but these are mainly from a cliff and an upper set of falls that are 226ft high, and this at at the bottom of an additional drop of 96ft. This is an extreme set of falls, even for around here. (322 ft total)

Good job! The tree trunks crossing the frame makes the waterfall much more interesting, not just beautiful.

Lovely - I will have to google "focus stacking." So much I don't know:)

@ingajohansson Thanks, I spent some time scouting out the area looking for a good composition. I ended up with three, and liked this one the best, Glad you found the same things interesting

@365karly1 I used software to artificially extend the DOF using two photos at f10, one had the center rock forwards in focus, and the other had the center rock back in focus. It usually turns out horrible (hand held), but I was using a tripod, so I think that helped.

@teriyakih Thanks for the explanation. I will try this sometime.
