We copped a drenching today and were amused by these lorikeets trying to seek some shelter by perching as close as possible to the trunk of a tree outside our kitchen window. Love how they are sitting up so straight to reduce the area exposed to the rain and how the one on the middle branch is trying to get additional shelter by being directly under the one above.
Two of them spent just about the whole day cuddled up in the corner of the kitchen window sill.
Lovely composition lots of lovely detail and colour Terry, must say they do look a little wet, particularly like the tall image format and the way you have captured the background rain:)
