Hiking Mickey Creek , Carnarvon Gorge 1

We did the short Mickey Creek Gorge walk soon after arriving at Takarakka (I managed to slip that in)
I have been putting off posting shots of Carnarvon Gorge because as I have said previously, I am hopeless at capturing the atmosphere of forests. Any suggestions very welcome.
Having never been in a forest to try and capture of photograph in one, I am afraid I can offer no suggestions. I do like what you have here though. It looks like it would have been quite some trek going through here.

I couldn't agree more Terry. I took about 100's of photos in the rain forests of Tassie last year, and not one of them did it justice.
I always imagine that if you can get a shot early morning or late afternoon when their is the possibility of some fog and then the sun filtering through would make a great forest shot...

What about processing in HDR!! That might bring out a bit more Dynamic Range.

It is hard to capture because of the uneven light. Perhaps HDR might help? I hope you enjoyed this walk. So lovely.
