Well, I refuse to go on this trail because I am afraid of heights; however, let me tell you about one ranger's job. She packs her bicycle with food and camping gear and rides this trail for three straight days (it's 100 miles long). Her mission is to quietly approach campsites and make sure people have filled out their paperwork and paid their fees. Many of them haven't, and her only protection is her walky talky. She is so disarming that everyone just cooperates with her instead of arguing. Her body is pure muscle.
