My futile attempt at restarting my 365 contributions earlier in the year petered out very quickly. However, inspired by Denise @lyndemc I just had to post again to celebrate my 80th birthday with the customary backflip.
My birthday was actually on the 22nd but unfortunately, the photos from the day were not 365 worthy. As you can imagine, I had had quite a few beers by the time it came for my starring performance and when I set up the camera, I set the ISO at 100 instead of 1000 and the shots were rather blurred so we had a second attempt the next day.
I still didn't get the reshoot right though. I was supposed to have a can of beer in my hand but of course, now officially being an old man, I forgot about it in the reshoot. Don't worry, I plan to get it all right for my 90th.
We had our daughter Kylie and her two girls Grace and Ava up from Sydney, our daughter Sonia from London, and Rohan and family including Maggie and Vivie from the Sunshine Coast to help me celebrate.

@koalagardens Oh shit!!! I just looked back at last year's photos and saw your comment. So that is now 3 years in a row with the same shorts. Next year . . . . . . .
oh wow you are still at it and I love seeing you still flipping away - happy birthday! and 3 years with the same shorts, that's what I call not living in the throw away society - good on you! I want to see the same ones again next year - double dare ya!
Well, you haven't disappointed me!!! Such a spectacular performance from an Octogenarian :) Didn't realise you were up there in that exclusive group. My sister is 80 next week and the brolly girls are taking her away the following week to celebrate - so watch my space! Looks like you are healthy and well, and I hope Rhoda is the same. Great to see you haven'r forgotten 365 altogether - although I must admit I'm very spasmotic! Cheers and HAPPY 80th BIRTHDAY :)
