Marilyn by terryliv

Marilyn

Recent extensions and upgrades to Indooroopilly Shopping Town were completed recently and we ended up with these two pieces at one of the entries.
I have no idea why the photographer has a dog's head or, worse still, why poor old Marilyn has the head of a Kangaroo.
Art!!!
Obvious really, it's Marilyn Monroo ......

@kporte Haha!

It is a little strange... fabulous statues but you would like there to be some link to the animals.

Maybe they had to slightly alter Maralyn for copyright purposes. I have no idea what is going on with the dog. And great dad joke @kporte Kieth, you made me chuckle at that one.

Why the kangaroo and dog head? So you'd notice them and wonder. Mission accomplished.

Fantastic images beautiful lighting and focus Terry, but what was the artist thinking or drinking;)

Nicely captured sculptures. The animal heads are a bit strange but no doubt draws comments and interest.

I rather like it and thanks for sharing. It's always good to see different things throughout our world which seems so much smaller due to projects like this - Fav

Ha ha I have photos of these too but I saw them in Bowral. There is a whole art gallery dedicated to this sort of art. Quite unusual :-)
