Finished - At Last

My comments have been a bit sporadic over the last couple of weeks and this is the reason why.
Back in May of last year I posted a pic of a couple of display cabinets I had built - http://365project.org/terryliv/365/2014-05-03
I am sure that anyone who saw that pic thought that their arrangement was very ordinary but I did say that I had still to build a TV unit to finish it all off.
Well, I have finally managed to complete the whole project and this is it. I'm very happy with it.
I won the argument with the kids who wanted me to get rid of my good/big old/big speakers and replace them with some new modern small dinky ones. But I think they would have looked bloody ridiculous sitting on the floor don't you think?
Definitely need the big speakers Poppo, looks great. Hope you have another project awaiting :)

Great piece design and build Terry, you are clearly a man of many talents, I'm with you on the speakers larger does not mean louder just more defined sound:)

What excellent craftsmanship. And well done in sticking with the big speakers. They are a lot better than the small dinky ones. Congratulations on finishing a project.

What a great job and I agree dinky speakers would look ridiculous. Love the symmetry of this shot too from a photographic point of view. You are very handy indeed.

Nice job, Terry. I have some work for you in Southern California. When can you start? I also agree on the speakers. Kid today - they don't know good sound - all that compressed digital stuff just doesn't make it with me.

@pamknowler Lucky??????!!!!!, I wish the small jobs I would like done would happen. Nothing big, but no ego that can go with them.
