You know I have run out of ideas when I have to grab a shot of the birds out the back.
Actually there must be plenty of food around at the moment since they have been pretty light on recently. But there is always enough around to get me out of trouble.

Hey, my first thought up on seeing birds was "YEAAA!" not that I'm bored with the other subjects, don't get me wrong. I just love these parrot pictures! Super catch with this showoff's wings out. Red eyes means female, right?

And thanks for the explanation about the aboriginal paintings. Why I didn't think to look that up myself, I don't know. "Duh" explains it.

I think I've said before how we take our common birds for granted. Growing up in western Qld, galahs were everywhere and I didn't think much of them at all but they really are so pretty.
