OK So I know that Grace and Maggie are all blurred but when two old wrinklies are trying to organise things, you don't have time to set things up properly. Nanna grabs the sparklers and I grab the camera.
Actually Grace had a very bad experience with a sparkler on New Years Eve at our place when she was just 2yo. Thankfully all is forgotten - by her at least.
Great light trail. I bet they had a ball doing it too. My "when dad is in charge" moment was when I let one of the kids use my nail gun. I still don't see the problem with it. I made her wear safety glasses, what could possibly go wrong?
@gilbertwood We are thinking of writing a book. There are a number of possible titles "Don't tell your Mum and Dad", "Irresponsible Grandparenting"; "Hello, is that Triple Zero" are a few that come immediately to mind. LOL
Lovely result of long exposure, sparklers and grandchildren, great mixture Terry, My daughter says, " for pities sake granddad" how many times do have to tell you he can't have that, lol:)
its a good fun shot - my brother was scared of sparklers for years after a bad experience in NZ of Guy Fawkes nights when he was little! He has also forgotten the fear! looks like your grandies had a wonderful time with you.
