Riverwalk Downstream

At the city end of the walk and about 1km from New Farm, the view of Riverwalk looking down stream.
BR (before retirement) I used to often go for a walk on the old one during lunch but this was the first time on the new structure. It was opened in Sep 2014. I think it is brilliant.

It is a great walkway, and a great way to give us mere mortals a closer look at the river.

I did enjoy the stroll down the walkway. Looking back at this perspective I don't think I ever realized how much out in the water we were. Hope it survives the next flood!

Terrific walk - looks great. i did walk along the old one several years ago and loved it :)
