Day 15 - Tanami Track by terryliv

Day 15 - Tanami Track

Since the track was graded and became a road, it is used as a shortcut by road trains going from Alice Springs to Broome - if you can call 1050kms a shortcut.
They leave a thick cloud of bull dust in their wake.
Don't bother to comment - just telling a story.

We have now left the map at http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2015-01-07 showing our tour up to the start of Day 15.

Great shot through the windscreen Terry, what amazed us when driving along one of these roads for the fist time, we saw a cloud of red dust coming towards us then notice it was a lorry as it got close, when it passed the driver waved and then I could see nothing but red dust, lol:)
