The Fog Has Lifted ...

But LOTS of snow on the way!!
For the before and after theme - top shot is obviously in the fog and the bottom shot is the four hours of sunshine we managed before the sunset. Woke up to a blizzard ... groan ...
I don't do a whole lot of photo manipulation so this is actually before and after in the real world!

the fog drained the colour from the trees! I definitely prefer the foggy shot, but would certainly have enjoyed being out in the sunshine much more.

I set both shots at 17 mm focal length, stood at the same stump in both photos, and then remembered which tree I put at the edge of the frame. So, it did work out pretty well.

I think it worked out beautifully. I couldn’t say which shot I like the best. Beautiful comp and both have beauty in different ways,
