Wow! A [formerly] continent-wide highway! Although "decommissioned" west of Dallas, the former Dixie Overland Highway once stretched from Savannah, GA to San Diego,CA! Not that you cared about this in traffic. This is one reason Clare & I have appreciated living in a smaller town: an 8-minute "commute"!
@rhoing Actually Thom, I "do" care! That is cool to know about my commute road! It has actually taken several turns in the last few years in my area. Somewhat sad to see the "path" changing. Thanks so very much for your comments!
I find it interesting that you blurred license plates. If they're out there on the road, they're fair game. I'm very sensitive to my [prominent] human subjects, but passers-by? They're out there in plain sight and fair game! (Unless and until someone gives me a contrary rationale, to which I *am* willing to listen!)
