This photo is recent but the pine cones are from last year and they are hanging on a dead branch. But they looked cool with the sun shining on them and the bokeh behind them. There are lots and lots of them on the Virginia Pines around the yard. Most will eventually come down as the wind blows, but today they "hang on".
