Focus...

These small balls grow on a Cedar tree in front of our home. I am sure they are blooms of some sort, but they don't produce any flower that I see. They cover the entire tree.

Cool capture. They say every plant has a bloom although we don't always recognize it. Cedars have to have a way of reproducing. This could be it.

I love the little berries on some cedars. I remember them more in the Northeast that I do here in the sounth.

@anniesue I'm not sure. This is a fairly mature tree and I've never seen cones on it.

@milaniet These are not on all the cedars around here, so perhaps it is a different variety. I assure you we are in the Deep South.
