The tracks divide...

I took from the bridge over the tracks that go right through the middle of the downtown. To the right (south) are the shops, restaurants, apartments and churches. To the right (north) is "the other side of the tracks" :- ).

@k9photo Thank you, Kate! It is a platform for "cargo". Just to the left (the green building) was a cotton warehouse, so I suppose that was for a sidetrack to load the cotton bales.
