I thought it was important to see the cotton on the plant. The leaves are gone, leaving only the stems, the burr and the cotton. The seeds are in the cotton boll.
The light is shining on the boll and showing the cotton off well. The first time I saw a cotton plant I couldn't help thinking about cotton batting that we kept in the medicine cabinet growing up. It looked and felt just like it.
@randystreat This is very late in the afternoon and I literally ran to catch the sunlight on these plants before it was gone. Yes, I think it is very similar!
