Into the night...

Once loaded the truck heads off (about 50 miles) the a cotton gin for further processing of the cotton before it is ready to be sold.
Thanks for all the comments on this series. It was so fun to finally get to photograph part of the process of local cotton being picked and beginning the process of becoming your garments, linens and bedding...right here in the South, USA!
It's been interesting to follow the steps of the cotton picking process - sure has changed over the years, but still long and tedious I imagine
