Loading the hay... by thewatersphotos

Loading the hay...

They finished rolling the bales last night, too late to load and carry off. Now Brandon is loading the bales onto a trailer, 20 bales per trailer, and carrying them to their barn.
It is early this morning, 7:00 a.m., and very cloudy. It actually came a very brief, but hard, shower as he first arrived.
There were 136 bales cut from our 26 acres this cutting.
I love this series you made of processing the hay.

You don't often stop and think about the many steps involved in being a farmer - those are good sized bales!
