I often wonder what the stories are behind the abandoned shoes and clothes I see on my walks. Given I never see any shoeless naked people where do they come from?

How odd. Not the best place to remove your shoes in the middle of nettles. Maybe they were changing shoes for wellies and forgot to pick up the shoes.
