Autumn Sunshine by thistle01

Autumn Sunshine

Spotted this peeping over the fence when out with the dogs this morning. I think it's a form of japonica but I'm not sure. The shrub was very pretty with lots of flowers. Help!

Lovely and I would say it’s Kerria Japonica! Usually an early spring flowered shrub, so not sure where you are living!!

Very full flower...all those petals, it reminds me of one of those wool balls you make on a circle of cardboard.
