SoJ Farmer's Market by timerskine

SoJ Farmer's Market

My Get Pushed challenge for this week from @valpetersen was "quintessentially August."

I had a couple of ideas, most of which got rained out (we've had a near record amount of rain this week). But the South of the James Farmers Market provided me a great opportunity. Nothing says August quite like fresh fruit, produce and flowers being hawked from stalls.
It's nice to see how the market is geared up to encourage social distancing. I'm still a bit wary of going to places where there's lots of people. Nice photo!

@serendypyty It’s the “South of the James Market” but since COVID it is being held well north of the James River. The park it was in wasn’t big enough to allow appropriate distancing so it got moved to a larger park.

@dutchothotmailcom Yep, they moved the market from a mid-size city park south of the James River https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_Hill_Park_(Richmond,_Virginia) to a large park north of the James River https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryan_Park_(Richmond,_Virginia). But the name remains "South of the James"

ok so my challenge for you is to use zoom burst. (you could combine it with front/rear curtain flash but that is optional. )
see here for ideas https://www.lightstalking.com/zoom-burst-photography/
