This is our hound, Maggie. She's about 6 years old...we don't know for sure since we got her from the county shelter (and yes, this makes her a pound hound). This shot shows off her markings, especially what we call her 'Nefertiti eye make-up.'
She is a very sweet girl, but a very, very nervous one without medication. She has been on anti-anxiety meds since about 6 months after we got her. We have reduced her dosage but can't completely wean her off. But we're OK with spending money on her because with her meds she is a happy pup who loves to run in the back yard.
